Convention Centers Blocking Your Wi Fi? Not in Portland tho! May 25 2016

I recently posted an article on Facebook about the FCC hitting various convention centers with fines for blocking internet access for exhibit attendees. The gist of the article from the perspective of an exhibition attendee or professional is that you go there, and you can't get internet access unless you pay high fees. It's a lame experience I've experienced many times. And forget even paying the fees, it's too much of a pain to even do that. BUT - for the record. My contact and friend from the Portland Convention Center has informed me that they don't do that in Portland. Kudos to PCC! Anyway here is that article: http://www.exhibitcitynews.com/fcc-fines-smart-city-750k-for-illegal-wi-fi-jamming/
