Straus Organic Creamery Debuts 100% Recyclable Custom Tradeshow Booth Design at Natural Products Expo West May 08 2018
Founded in 1994, the Straus Family Creamery specializes in organic, non-gmo dairy products made with minimal processing. Located in the small town of Marshall on the Northern California Coast, The Straus Dairy Farm and Creamery was the first certified organic dairy farm west of the Mississippi River and the first 100% certified organic creamery in the United States! For the Straus Family, land stewardship and organic farming practices are deeply rooted principles in sustainable farming. From the very beginning, the Straus Family Creamery has had a deep commitment to supporting a sustainable dairy farming system that is both environmentally friendly and economically viable. They believe sustainable organic farming practices are imperative to ensure the health of farming for generations to come and to sustain a thriving relationship among farms, food, people, and the earth.
It is this commitment to sustainable farming and eco-friendly business practices that made us thrilled to work with them on their recent custom tradeshow booth design at Natural Products Expo West! Not only was their custom tradeshow booth design functional, eye catching and attractive, the entire booth structure and all the booth furniture was fabricated entirely out of recyclable cellulose fiberboard, which qualified them as a “Green Exhibitor” at the show!
The cellulose fiberboard used for the Straus Family Creamery’s ecofriendly tradeshow booth design is made from post-consumer repulped paper waste, it is repulpable, biodegradable and is Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified! In addition to it’s ecofriendly, cost saving qualities, cellulose fiber board is a perfect medium for all types of printed designs! From brand logos, product photography or even the detailed faux wood and textured patterns used in Straus’ booth, the potential range of printed designs is limited only by your imagination! Cellulose fiberboard fits right into Boothster’s cradle to cradle, sustainable booth design approach and it’s range of potential creativity and 100% recyclability has established it as one of the Boothologist’s favorite booth design materials!
The team at Straus Family Creamery wanted a sustainable booth design that conveyed a “farmhouse” aesthetic while maintaining 100% recyclability. For this booth, cellulose fiber board was used for everything including the base foundation, structural walls, tables, cabinets, islands and signage. The printability of cellulose fiberboard makes it perfect for faux wood designs on the tabletops and walls, as well as promotional imagery, photos and logos!
Finally, because cellulose fiberboard is so structurally strong, all the pieces of this booth can be reused as many times as needed until the end of their life-cycle. Then, when this booth is finally disposed of, every single piece of this exhibit will be safely recycled!
