Graphic File Requirements

Follow this handy guide for preparing files for graphic production

  • Prepare files in Adobe Illustrator (.ai) or Photoshop (.psd)
  • Sometimes other software will work; it depends on the graphic
  • Rollable and panel graphic files must be at least 125 dots per inch (dpi) at full size
  • Tension fabric graphic files must be at least 100 dpi at full size
  • Provide a small resolution Adobe PDF (.pdf) file for screen viewing
  • Link images (no embedded files)
  • Build CMYK colors
  • Include PMS colors for precise color matches
  • Include all fonts for editing or convert fonts to outlines
  • Provide sizes and specs
  • Delete irrelevant files; do not provide files or photos that are not relevant - graphic design is billed by the hour so any time spent deciphering irrelevant files will be charged at $95 per hour

If you or your graphic designer have further questions please email or call your account manager, or Boothster.com

Types of Trade Show Graphics Materials:

Rollable Graphics

Rollable Graphic

Roll-able graphics are a standard in the trade show exhibits industry. High resolution inkjet is printed, and then covered in a thin and clear plastic coating. The graphic rolls up for easy shipping and storage – and best of all, it does not retain the roll shape when you install it! Don’t be fooled with cheap imitations – our roll-able graphics will last for years to come. They can be installed easily with velcro, magnets, carpet tape and more; attached to a variety of substrates.

Panel Graphics

Panel Graphic

A standard in the trade show exhibits industry, hard panel graphics are also used commonly in retail. High resolution inkjet is printed, and then laminated to a polystyrene panel in a variety of thicknesses. Hard panels can be cut to any shape and laminated with full color bleed graphics. Attach them to a post for a dramatic sign, or simply insert graphics into a trade show booth system. The panels can be applied to a a variety of surfaces.

Dimensional Graphics

Dimensional Graphic

Dimensional letters are a great way to add extra visual punch to a trade show booth, retail environment or sign. Dimensional letters can be cut from a variety of materials, such as foam, fiber board, sintra or plex. With accent lighting they add to almost any graphic design layout - whether that environment is trade show, retail or corporate.

Tension Fabric Graphics

Tension Fabric Graphics

Lightweight and extremely agile, tension fabric allows interesting and dynamic shapes to fill an environment. The fabric is supported by an aluminum "skeleton" and the graphic wraps around it like a giant sock, zippering for a snug fit. Trade show booths are ideal spaces for tension fabric. We print directly on the fabric in full color, and can even accentuate the design with projected images as pictured. We are also capable of providing tactile, exorcized fabric to further enhance the concept.
